By default the My Documents folder is located at c:\windows\my documents but this can be easily moved. Quite a handy tip if you want to relocate the folder to a larger / faster hard drive.
Step 1
Right click My Documents and select Properties
Step 2
Either type in the location of the folder you would like to be your new My Documents folder or click the Browse button to locate it via the Browse For Folder window.
